Making an Appointment

The specialists at 341 South Terrace provide consultations on a range of general surgical, breast and endocrine surgical problems. A referral from a general practitioner or another specialist is required. Appointments are booked with the surgeon’s receptionist, and the timing will vary according to urgency and the need for associated investigations, such as mammography. The length of each consultation may vary with the nature and complexity of different medical conditions. Every effort will be made to ensure consultations are near the appointed time, but we offer our apologies when small delays occur. Should time be of the essence, it may be wise to ring just prior to the appointment to ensure that any delays can be avoided.

Appointments can be made in the usual manner by contacting the individual surgeon’s secretary on the numbers provided.

Caring and experienced personal assistants support the surgeons and  provide the reassurance that patients will be seen at the earliest available appointment.

On occasion a preferred provider may not be available to review a patient expeditiously. In these cases, with the consent of the referring GP and patient, an alternative arrangement will be made to see another surgeon in the practice to avoid delay. This co-ordination is only possible with a close practice association supported by experienced staff. During the surgeons leave these covering arrangements provide comfort to clinicians and patients alike.
